A few years back I moved from Los Angeles to Sedona, Az. I was emotionally depleted and physically tired. I sold most everything I had including furniture and packed up my sacreds and necessities and loaded all I had left in my Nissan pick-up.
Driving to Sedona, Az became a sort of Aboriginee Walk-About for me as I knew not a soul in Sedona and had not a clue as to what I was going to do there. I was following a "Soul" urging and reinforced by visions and Spiritual synchronicities.
Sedona was the most amazing, vitalizing energetically, and beautiful spot that I could ever have wanted to see.
Hiking the canyons, trails and out of way places became a joyous and sacred ritual for me. I became free of limitations and joyous in spirit and heart. I also connected deeply to the earth and nature. I was a loner, a seeker, open to the mysteries of nature and Spirit.
I found a beaded Native American ceremony pipe and began to perform ceremony and rituals that were full of love, sacredness and calling in the energies of Spirit, animals, birds and all living things. Spirit answered me back by giving me gifts: raven feathers in perfect shapes, on the trail that I had prayed to going up and coming back there in the exact middle of the path where I could not help but see it, Raven feather.
I found hawk feathers, blue jay, woodpecker, turtle dove, and many others.
One day I hiked into a secluded canyon and stopped at the crest to pray and perform ceremony. When I finished, I gazed all around me at the beauty of the canyon and directly across from me on the wall of the canyon I saw a large rock formation and in this rock formation was the largest Heart shaped rock I had ever seen. I was stunned! Transformed and breathless, gazing at this heart rock; perfect in symmetry. Ohhh how I did send my love to this site. I was exhilarated. Finally, I left singing outloud.
Some time later my daughter came to visit and I took her hiking with me to the canyon where I had seen the heart shaped rock in the canyon wall. Not there! I searched and looked to be sure I was in the right place. It was not there. I realized then, that I had been given another gift from Spirit; the return of the love I had sent out and the love I had poured into all my rituals and ceremonies. God, and the Master's of Light had returned the love by giving me the sight of the beautiful heart shaped rock in the canyon wall. What a blessing! Rev. Ellie

Wolves LOVEJOY
I belong to Defenders of Wildlife organization and have worked to reintroduce the wolves into Yellowstone Park. It is a continuing call to protect these magnificent and beautiful animals.
My daughter and I have traveled to many wolf sanctuaries and have been able to physically be with the wolves and in a "hands on" situation. The sheer joy of howling with the pack, or with a single wolf is indescribable.
I have wolf fur in my medicine bag and have traveled to places unknown to most to be with the wolves and to take them across the Rainbow Bridge.
In short: I LOVE THEM, all of them.
Oregon and now Washington state have set up programs to help the wolves in their states make a comeback and be protected. I just received a notice from Defenders of Wildlife that 1 Oregon wolf has separated from the pack and traveled to Northern Ca. in search of a mate. Get involved, help Defenders help the wolves!
